Brian's Story

Interview With Brian

Intro :
Tell us a bit about yourself and your story?

Hi my name is Brian Robeson and I'm 13 years old I live with my mother in Houston and, my mom and dad are divorced and my dad lives in Canada. Before I was going to visit my dad, my mom gave me a Hatchet so I got on the plane and halfway through the pilot was screaming and panting I know what was happening he was having a heart attack he then just lay on the floor but I had no clue how to drive a plane, try to contact help but it was just static and all I could think of was just death the plane crashed in a lake  I somehow I survived the plane crash and I was stuck in the Canadian Wilderness for 2 months I think. I managed to survive all the things that happened to me but after that another plane flew by and the pilot rescued me so then I did manage to meet my father but I couldn't stay long and I went back home to Houston to live with my mother but my mom found another man and also to mention there was a Secret between my mom and the man with short blonde hair, I was going to tell my dad about the Secret but never had the time to do it.

Questions:
1) What was the scariest moment for you during your adventure?

While I was getting my raspberries a BIG BLACK FLUFFY SOFT BEAR was right in front of me and I stood really still and did nothing, even the bear stood up just looked at me straight in the eyes like it was checking my heart beat and the eyes of the bear warned me not to follow him or her and that really gave me a chill in my spines,

2) What inspired you to keep going
and not give up when things got hard?
There was a time when a turtle came to a shore and laid her eggs and I was really hungry my stomach was turning inside out and it reminded of my uncle Carter who used to eat Raw eggs every morning and my stomach was calling for the egg, my mind told me don't eat its  bad, but my stomach said its just like every other normal egg so I went and I ate it and left no egg yolk in the egg and I almost finished them all but I stored them for later.

3) What were the strengths you feel that
you showed that helped you overcome
your enemies/obstacles?
A teacher named Mr.Peprich use to be my English teacher and he always talks about being positive thinking positive and staying on top of things he would keep saying that to like motivate kids and that was my strength always on and on and on thinking about the positive things.

4) What do you feel was the most positive
thing that happened from your experience?
When after I ate the eggs tomorrow morning my stomach was yearning for food I looked at the lake and I saw little and big fish just swimming around the lake so I thought maybe I could make a spear or a bow and arrow but it took a lot of work but at the end I caught some fish and little birds to eat and build my shelter, I felt proud of what I did.

5) Who and/What helped you the most
during your journey?
My best friend Terry and my mom because In my dream Terry gave me hints how to build a fire for myself and as for my mom she gave me a Hatchet that really helped me throughout my journey In the Canadian Wilderness for my Shelter, Weapons, and Food.

6) Were you happy about the
important choices you made?
I was hoping it would land on a lake and it did it kinda save my life I guess but that choice was difficult to decide.

7) Did it turn out good or bad for you
at the end, were you happy?
It turned ok because I never got to tell my dad about the Secret and my mom was still dating that guy with blonde hair I also want to thank the pilot who saved my life Thank You.
